If you haven't had a chance, please examine and comment on https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://uofi.app.box.com/file/1167510074806__;!!DZ3fjg!8ULTYxtM6LBpt9BihUWj0xIxd_ZO_-0zAVwih5Ww6wJiQJ126HTjZ8JAjezyR1-Atk6z_DWDd3uhAIa3HY1jvRTqy8hNyfBh0IQo$ by the end of Thursday April 6th. Denise Hello CARLI Open Access Review group, We have a second round of Open Access/Free E-collections for your review. In creating this roster, I drew on the list provided by a January 5th email from Amy Fry and Zhaneille Green, as well as Alma Content notes and questions sent to CARLI support's email. Please note three observations for your comment as well as the list of e-collections: 1. Two e-collections are affiliated with questionable publishers: MDPI Open Access Books MDPI Open Access Journals We left them in the roster for your review. 1. Many of these e-collections have a 70% percentage or higher overlap with currently active NZ e-collections including: American Society for Microbiology Open Access Brillonline Open Access Books Cambridge Books - Open Access Co-Action Open Access Journals Ebook Central Open Access Complete Edward Elgar Open Access Journals at Ovid Open Access Journal Rolling Liverpool University Press Open Access Manchester Hive MDPI Open Access collections (both ebooks and journals) Peter Lang Open Access Ebooks University of Adelaide Press (Open Access) Walter De Gruyter: Open Access eBooks Of course, overlap between aggregators like DOAJ and publisher provider e-collections is to be expected. We left them in the roster for your review 1. Finally, there are also predominantly non-English language e-collections for your review. Examples in this roster: Peter Lang Open Access Ebooks UTB eLibrary Open Access Walter De Gruyter: Open Access eBooks Within the Box Folder https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://uofi.app.box.com/file/1167510074806__;!!DZ3fjg!8ULTYxtM6LBpt9BihUWj0xIxd_ZO_-0zAVwih5Ww6wJiQJ126HTjZ8JAjezyR1-Atk6z_DWDd3uhAIa3HY1jvRTqy8hNyfBh0IQo$ is an Excel file named "New Alma Open Access or Free ecollections Round 2" with the roster of Open Access titles to review. We decided each time there are titles shared there would be a two-week review period. This means we need your initials in the column L (or not) by April 4, 2023. Thank you, and don't hesitate to ask any questions! Denise D.
