My apologies, the event on automated holdings update is a Technical Services Q & A, not an Alma Office hours.
Please share with your colleagues.

Subject: [I-ShareLiaisons] Technical Services Q&A, August 25, 2:00 p.m., Ebook Central Autoholdings

The next CARLI Technical Services Q&A will take place on August 25 at 2:00 p.m. CDT. This month, we'll feature a discussion of automated holdings updates for the Ebook Central platform. This approach for updating ebook bibs and portfolios for Ebook Central packages, including CARLI's consortial Ebook Central collection and PDA projects, appears to offer several advantages over maintaining Ebook Central titles at individual institutions or the Network Zone.

ProQuest's Kristin Johnson will present details on how each institution may get the automatic holdings configured, and CARLI staff will be available to answer questions on how this service fits with other Alma initiatives.

As always, Tech Services Q&A sessions will be recorded. Please register for the session on the CARLI Events calendar<https://www.carli.illinois.edu/techservqa_20220825>.[1] Registrants will receive the connection details on August 24.
