Good afternoon,

We are pleased to welcome you to the 2023 New Directors' Institute! The Institute will be held on Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25 at the CARLI Office in Champaign. Attendees should plan to attend the full two days. CARLI will pay all hotel and meal expenses for the 2-day program. Things you need to know and things I need to know! (Things I need to know are in bold.)

  *   The institute is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24.   *   Please let me know if you would like lodging for both nights or only on May 24. I will make the reservations and send the reservation confirmation number to you.
  *   A free hot breakfast is available at the hotel.
  *   We will have box lunches on Wednesday and Thursday. A menu is attached. Please make two choices from the menu and include them in the hotel information that you send to us.

  *   Please dress comfortably for the institute. (We will take a group photo sometime during Day 1.)
  *   If you would like to bring a refillable water bottle, there is a bottle filling station on the water fountain at the office.
Please let me know by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 if you want the hotel for one or two nights and your two menu choices for lunch on Wednesday and Thursday.

Please note: The CARLI Office has moved. CARLI now has a small office space and a shared conference room in the Illinois Heartland Library System building. The office is located at 1704 Interstate Drive. When parking at IHLS, please do not use the spaces that are lined in blue as these are for their delivery trucks.
