As a CARLI Counts Cohort 1 participant, I'm excited to share an upcoming workshop series: "Implementing Assessment Tools for Library Impact on Students' Academic Success" (LG-256587-OLS-24), funded by IMLS. This series is tailored for librarians looking to enhance their assessment skills and showcase the impact of libraries on student success.

Are you looking to enhance your assessment knowledge and skills? Don't miss
our upcoming workshop series designed to empower you with practical tools and
insights.
This two-year project, titled "Implementing assessment tools for library impact on
students' academic success" (2024-2026) was made possible in part by the Institute of
Museum and Library Services (LG-256587-OLS-24).
What You'll Learn:
1. Identify components of an IRB application
2. Describe qualitative and quantitative library assessment methods
3. Utilize assessment tools
4. Map out each stage of the assessment projects
5. Formulate and implement effective strategies for sharing survey results
6. Develop recommendations to address students' needs using the sample data
provided, which can help you to implement changes in support of support of students'

This series is ideal for librarians without formal assessment training facing limited
resources, juggling multiple roles, and able to commit to the full workshop schedule.

* Date: April 21 - June 16, 2025
* Time: Every Monday, 11 am- 12:30 pm (Central time)
o Breaks on April 28 and May 26
* Location: Online (Zoom)

institution are allowed to participate. Up to 50 academic libraries will be selected for the
workshop series. Submission form closes on January 30, 2025.
Select criteria:
Applicants will be prioritized based on the criteria outlined, with consideration of their
institutional needs.
