Dear Primo VE users,

We are excited to invite you to join us on an innovative journey of learning by adding and integrating Mixpanel on top of your existing Primo VE views. This integration will enable you to learn more on your Patrons usage and engagement, alongside with your current OBI Analytics, offering a comprehensive view of your users' behaviours and interactions.

Benefits of using Mixpanel:

  1.  Enhanced Insights: Mixpanel provides deep user engagement analytics, helping you understand how users interact with your library resources in real-time
  2.  Complementary to OBI Analytics: while OBI Analytics offers robust reporting capabilities, Mixpanel’s dynamic and interactive analytics will complement it by providing actionable insights and a more granular view of user activities and journey.
  3.  Ease of Implementation: we understand that your time is valuable, and we are committed to making this integration as effortless as possible. Our team will handle the project setup and populate out-of-the-box reports tailored to your needs. The implementation will also have no technical impact on your systems.
Project Timeline:
We are planning 3 groups of Early Adopters, in September, October and November, 4 weeks from kick-off to launch, with a training session of about 1 hour in the middle.
Future Plans:
Mixpanel will be the exclusive Analytics platform for the New Discovery Experience (NDE) Until it becomes available, you will be able to keep the Primo VE OBI and see all main events in Mixpanel in addition.
