Jessica, could we go ahead and hold the date on the CARLI calendar? Here are some details we could use; no pressure to use them, but I didn’t want to task you with writing something up.

Provisional Title: Primo VE Research Assistant: First Impressions
Provisional Description: Join the Discovery Primo VE Committee to explore and discuss the new AI-powered Research Assistant in Primo VE. Attendees are encouraged to bring feedback and questions, and discussion prompts will be shared in advance of the session.

Hi all,

Jessica and I were emailing off list, and she suggested that the Committee host a webinar in the next month about Primo VE Research Assistant. I know we discussed the possibility of hosting something later in the semester during our last meeting, but considering how big of news the feature release is, I agree it makes sense to start the conversation about it between I-Share libraries sooner than later.

How would folks feel about hosting an informal discussion webinar the week of October 28th? I think we could send out discussion questions to attendees in advance, encouraging them to test the feature, so we can all learn from each other (essentially what we’re doing in our next meeting but with a larger group 😊). We could also provide some information about how other AI tools are/can be used to facilitate resource discovery and how they compare to PVE Research Assistant.

In the past, we have hosted our webinars at either 11am or 1pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
