Hello Everyone,
Sorry about the duplication but there was an error in one of the link to the new round of Illinois SCOERs sub-grant application. The error has been fixed and all the links are now working. Please share with widely!
The Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries of Illinois (CARLI) is pleased to announce the availability of a second round of applications for the creation of Open Educational Resources (OER) as part of the Illinois SCOERs (Support for Creation of Open Educational Resources)<https://www.carli.illinois.edu/products-services/collections-management/IllinoisSCOERs> program. This project has been fully funded by an additional $1 million supplemental grant to the University of Illinois System/CARLI, from the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.ed.gov/FIPSE/__;!!DZ3fjg!_TIf2VBRMLZY9PIWRQRqicl65IbCZXh_cIpUpJYDYFOKUsfA2Yv_XPTJnmupHQhkCoWApNalQfCQoy6GK35F_vquIU2inQ$ >) in the U.S. Department of Education.
While the primary focus for the Illinois SCOERs sub-grants remains courses related to "The Human Condition: Care, Development, and Lifespan," we have expanded the focus to include any subject area for large enrollment courses with high textbook costs.
CARLI will award a minimum of eight grants as part of Illinois SCOERs. Each applicant team may request up to $60,000.
CARLI recommends that interested parties fill out the Illinois SCOERs Intent to Apply form<https://www.carli.illinois.edu/products-services/collections-management/intent-apply-IL-scoers-sub-award> prior to October 1, 2022.
For detailed information and to access the application materials, view the Illinois SCOERs Notice of Funding Opportunity<https://www.carli.illinois.edu/products-services/collections-management/ILSCOERs-NFO-Round2>
CARLI will host informational Zoom workshops to discuss the grant and to walk future applicants through the application process. These workshops will be held:
Sept 6, 2022 from 2-3:30 pm Register<https://illinois.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYpc-igqD0tEtUdmDv-PYB3nyDNOFbZNGMY> to attend.
