Please join Computing Assisted Instruction Specialist Emily Boles as she takes the Il SCOERs grantees through the basics of Instructional Design. This workshop is open to all who are interested in how Instructional Design can benefit your teaching and your students.

Description
Please join CARLI and Elisandro Cabada, Assistant Professor, Medical and Bioengineering Librarian, Director of the Grainger Engineering Library IDEA Lab, for the first of several workshops on 3D printing and OER. This workshop is designed for the Illinois SCOERs grantees but is open to all who are interested.
This sessions will cover:
o          General introduction to 3D printing
o          Expectations for each grant project group's 3D printing coordinator
o          Setting up your workspace
o          Best practices for maintaining your printer and supplies
o          Download Cura software

This workshop is open to all CARLI members.

In creating Open Educational Resources you might find that you need to use an article or image that has traditional copyright. If you must use a copyright protected item, learn about how to conduct a fair use analysis and, in the alternative, how to ask for permission to use a copyright protected item in your work.
