Registration is now open for the CARLI sponsored IFSI Burn Simulation and Recovery Workshop on July 16. There is no registration fee for this program.

Due to the hands-on nature of this program, space is extremely limited. One person per CARLI member institution will be allowed to register. After June 22, if space remains, registration will be open for additional attendees from those institutions that have confirmed registrants.

Register on the CARLI website:

Workshop Description:
Do you have a plan if your library has a fire? How do you recover? Does your institution have a disaster plan? Has it been updated in the past year? Where do you start?

The hands-on workshop will be held at the Illinois Fire Services Institute facility in Champaign. This workshop will train participants in planning for and response to a library fire disaster and hopefully answer the questions raised above.
