[ArchivesTF] Appraisal webinar help requested

Hey everyone



Just a reminder that our Appraisal workshop will be next Friday, January 31st at 1 PM.  As part of the workshop, we will be breaking out into smaller groups to do appraisal reviews/breakouts for collections.



Right now, we have 140 individuals signed up for the webinar.  Of course, they probably won’t all attend, but we are hoping some of us would be willing to help handle the group discussion.  We would like to break the groups up into 10 individuals with a couple of collection appraisal scenarios and questions.



If you are interested in serving as a monitor for a group or two, have experience with archival appraisal, and appreciate the idea of the Frank Boles approach to appraisal (Black box), we need your help.  Please let me know if you are interested and available in volunteering for helping with the breakout groups. We will provide more information about the breakout groups by early next week.
