Hi all,

You may consider reaching out to Ryan Franklin (rfranklin at ilsos.gov<mailto:rfranklin at ilsos.gov>) to mention/ask about this. Ryan is on the Statewide database committee and is dealing with the branding. I know that as of last month, she was working with EBSCO on this branding issue and trying to figure out how to not override library-specific branding.

Ryan previously let us know that having examples of the branding issues you’re seeing would be helpful to ISL and EBSCO as they troubleshoot.

We have had a similar experience at NEIU. When we first moved to the new interface, the logo and change was working fine. It seems now that we have the Illinois State Library databases added to our access, their settings may be overriding ours. Just a guess.

I believe they're relying on geolocation so everyone in Illinois has access to the new materials. I hope the ISL gets their notification out soon so we can all know more.

I tried changing the EBSCOhost icon in the upper left corner using EBSCO Experience Manager. My changes will not replace the EBSCOhost icon or the URL that links to the state library. I updated the Researcher section. My screenshot shows that my color worked, but the icon changes do not nor does the URL link to our library website.

EBSCO Connect support also said he updated it, but no change.

Have you had success?
