Hi Lisa,
CARLI staff will activate all the new EBSCOhost e-collections in the Network Zone. CARLI staff will add the customer ids and OPIDs via an inventory network group. We don’t have one already for NEIU. You and I can experiment with one for an existing EBSCOhost NZ e-collection in advance of the July turning on of all the NZ new EBSCO e-collections.

What would your customer id & OPID and other settings be? I’ll attach an example from a different library. And forward to you my email to CARLI,  in case it got caught in your spam folders.

Hi, all.

I'm so sorry to have missed the last meeting, where maybe this was discussed.

The new EBSCO database content is amazing! Any idea of whether we will be activating these collections in our IZs? It will add a ton of bib records, which will be problematic. However, we use both OpenAthens and have upgraded to the new interface (with the unique OPID), so it seems like that may be necessary.

Any discussion of this so far?
