Looking ahead to March and April's webinars, I wanted to share a checklist that CARLI staff use for some of our office hours and release notes webinars. This might be useful to plan who covers what if we do the planning over email rather than in person.

Before presentation

  *   Sound check
  *   Test run
  *   Identify presenters
  *   Test links, spell/grammar check slides, and check/add alt text to images
  *   Curate document of URLs with headings to share during presentation?
  *   Caption images on slides?
  *   Handling registration(s)?
  *   Sharing Zoom/Teams URL with participants?
  *   Crafting blurb for CARLI newsletter and applicable email lists
  *   Sharing blurb with Michelle Haake and applicable email lists
Kicking it off

  *   Starting the recording
  *   Enabling captions/transcription?
  *   Noting number of attendees, start and end time of presentation, date, length of presentation
  *   Welcoming attendees and introduction
  *   Advancing slides
     *   Demos or screenshare handoff(s)
  *   Overseeing the chat - relaying pertinent information from chat to presenter(s) and responding to participant inquiries and responses
During Presentation

  *   Designated back-up (if someone has technical difficulties)
  *   Sharing links (with headings) in the chat
After presentation

  *   Running Q & A or post-presentation wrap-up
  *   Uploading recording to YouTube and CARLI website
