As mentioned at the OER Committee meeting today. The group of messages on the OEN email list about evaluating OER - gave me a thought that these types of resources would be a good addition to the CARLI OER website. Here are the resources that were shared. Would a couple committee members be willing to look at and let me know if they should/should not be shared via the CARLI OER website? I appreciate your input. Thanks, Elizabeth

Here's what we use - it'll look familiar! We brought our own system's needs assessment survey knowledge over into pre-existing criteria from BCcampus and Quality Matters.

Here's another great resource for evaluating and choosing OER created by my colleagues Olena Zhadko and Susan Ko at CUNY. https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://oerworkshop.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-content/blogs.dir/3451/files/2019/09/OER-Evaluation-and-Selection-Criteria.pdf__;!!DZ3fjg!oUsXlBWquf7K88YALB3Er5H1QBN9y5RRqf5tBy4gfIpaneZzoNi7U_kVWpHVUpr0b0ZTj6pPbw$

I assembled this rubric for course material evaluation. It drew on a number of sources (see page 2 for citations). https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://hdl.handle.net/10919/95875__;!!DZ3fjg!oUsXlBWquf7K88YALB3Er5H1QBN9y5RRqf5tBy4gfIpaneZzoNi7U_kVWpHVUpr0b0bsuq2SRw$
As part of an exercise during the Library Publishing Forum several years ago, Rebel Cummings Sauls crowdsourced this document on review rubrics: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://bit.ly/reviewrubrics__;!!DZ3fjg!oUsXlBWquf7K88YALB3Er5H1QBN9y5RRqf5tBy4gfIpaneZzoNi7U_kVWpHVUpr0b0Zu4xrNcw$
It sort of depends on who the audience is for the rubric -- There are important differences between course material selectors and people evaluating materials but not for adoption for a course.
