Hi OER Committee members,

We have some exciting news to share! Anne Craig, Margaret Chambers, Elizabeth Clarage, and I met with Will Cross last Friday to discuss the possibility of his presenting an Open Pedagogy program for CARLI members and the PDA. Through those discussions he recommended a two-part series to be presented during Open Education Week as well as the week after. Below are just preliminary notes about the programs; we will share more details as we receive them.
Open Pedagogy Series with Will Cross:
March 8 at 2:00 p.m. CST / 3:00 p.m. EST, a foundational session on Open Pedagogy (audience is mainly librarians)
March 15 at 2:00 p.m. CST / 3:00 p.m. EST, an outreach and advocacy, connecting with faculty session (audience is librarians, invitation to bring in teams: instructional designers, faculty, etc.)
Chris, thank you for suggesting this wonderful speaker on Open Pedagogy! If you haven't heard Will Cross speak on this topic, here is a webinar he gave for OEN: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw8UVk0lkOw__;!!DZ3fjg!tPgLaQmh0R-vwJxXgwBRxsCpu5aBhGhr0jwFcMkCan2n9gVRGIszFtheusw8iOiMUoBzZ4xYdQ$ .

Best,
Nicole
